Unique items assigned to heroes (+drop rate)? - Guild Wars Forums

Are very rare items such as the Miniature Peacekeeper Enforcer exempt from being assigned to NPCs? If not, does this mean there's still a chance it will drop but assign to my heroes (and in the process, deleted)?
What drop rate for the Miniature Peacekeeper Enforcer should I be expecting in my 7 hero team?

iirc there are some items that are excemptions to the rule that items drop less the bigger your party is. But I don't believe that this would be one of those. Either way, expect very low droprates. You're probably better off buying one.

Item drops are assigned at random to any party member in compass range, including heroes or henchmen. I believe the only items that are exempt from random assignment are quest drops, but there may be other exceptions. Unique items can be assigned to heroes and henchmen.

Expect the item drop rate for your desired mini to be divided by 8 if you have 7 heroes in your party. In other words, expect a really low chance.

I have completed War in Kryta 10 times, done over a thousand Wanted Bounties and never seen a mini drop, and not one of my friends, of which I have many have seen one either.

I have only had a few greens drop, perhaps 5 in total, and I have not had the more expensive ones like Firebrand or Law and Order drop, oh and I have solo farmed both in nm and hm many times.

In other words don't get your hopes up, WIK minis are expensive for a reason.
